Dear participant,
After very careful consideration of the international dimension and of all the issues connected with the COVID-19 outbreak, the Scientific and Organising Committee together with the Local Conference Organiser have decided to postpone the ISEKI-Food 2020 conference to 23 – 25 June 2021, Nicosia, Cyprus.
The main concern of the organisers is the health of all people involved in the conference (participants, organisers, sponsors, exhibitors, etc.) and the need to comply with the rules and guidelines aimed to decrease the spreading of this disease.
Additionally, many organisations (universities, research centers and organisations) all over the world have restricted their staff mobility for some months ahead, which might further hinder many people to attend the conference in July.
Thus, please note the following:
1. The conference venue will remain the same: “The Landmark Hotel”, Nicosia, Cyprus
2. The abstract submission and registration system will be kept open. This will allow participants with submitted abstracts to update or cancel their submissions and registration. It will also be possible to submit new abstracts. For updating a submitted abstract it has to be cancelled and then resubmitted.
3. In an effort to minimize hassle and costs, the following actions are being taken regarding registrations and other local services:
a. All the registrations and submissions will be automatically valid for the new conference date, unless you prefer to cancel your registration in your conference account. If you have already registered and paid the registration fees and would like to cancel your registration, please contact the conference secretariat: conference@iseki-food.net.
b. You are responsible to cancel/change all local arrangements by yourself, (hotel bookings, airport transfers, car hire, flights etc.). If you have done your bookings via “easyconferences” please contact them via info@easyconferences.org or cancel within your “easyconferences” account.
All participants’ accounts (within the “easyconferences” system) will be updated as soon as possible. In addition, the system and the conference website will also be updated.
